Gentry Bros. flyer #1 (From Buckles)

Floyd and Howard King used this and other titles on their shows in the 1920's.
In this case they inexplicably mistook a few Ringling photos.

I was thinking about going next door to Sun City Center today and march with all the Veterans.
Don't know where my leggings and steel pot helmet are.
On second thought, it would be embarrassing if I couldn't keep up.

We could have had a Veteran's day

party at Showfolks while some of us

are still around (maybe next year)

You could have sat on the side with

a tiny flag & a smile

My generation still calls it Armistice Day. Hello and Thanks to all the vets out there!

Mr King was good about mistakenly using photos from other shows. When the Cole show went out in 1935, all the pictures had to come from other shows. I liked his "Returned from Foreign Lands" theme.

Its hard to believe that I worked for Mr. King and also his brother Howard was there and I also worked on the front door and got to know them as well.Quite unusual people.
